Masco Corp. has acquired five home improvement products companies with combined annualized 2002 sales of about $200 million.

The acquisition includes Newport Brass, a California-based manufacturer of premium priced plumbing products, plumbing specialties and bath accessories.

The other four companies, all headquartered in the United Kingdom, are: Bristan Ltd., which provides kitchen and bath faucets, showers and bath accessories; Cambrian Windows Ltd., manufacturer of vinyl window frames; Duraflex Ltd., an extruder of vinyl window frame components; and Premier Manufacturing Ltd., manufacturer of vinyl window frames, door frames and conservatories (sun rooms).
