Johnstone Supply recently restructured its merchandising/marketing department into three divisions aligned with core customer markets: HVAC, Commercial Refrigeration and Controls, and Appliance Parts and Facilities Maintenance. This restructuring will facilitate the firm’s shift from product-driven marketing to a customer- and market-driven focus, the company said.

Each division will consist of two merchandising/marketing departments headed by their respective merchandising managers.

Heading up the HVAC Division is Marketing Director Sam Krumholz. The two departments in this division are HVAC equipment/supplies; hydronics and oil heat (led by Steve Porter); and motors, motor accessories, pumps and ventilation products (led by Charlie Swett).

The Commercial Refrigeration and Controls Division is headed by Stephen Brown, division marketing director. Robert Petty Jr. supervises the refrigeration department and John Poulos is in charge of HVACR controls.

Jim Adcox is the new marketing director for the Appliance Parts and Facilities Maintenance Division. He teams up with Don Waddell (electrical, lighting, instruments and tools) and Fred Bye (appliance parts, plumbing and hardware).

The company also formed new inventory/procurement and customer service departments. Randy Becker is the new director/procurement and Kathy Uhrig is now the manager/customer service.
