Just weeks after taking ownership of BuildSoft at BuildNet's bankruptcy auction, HomeSphere released an upgrade to the program (version 3.56) that brings enhanced functionality to its core operating system. With the upgrade, BuildSoft is now compliant with Windows 2000 and 2001 tax forms.

Other enhanced features include system upgrades of purchase order and work order formats, new accounts receivable and invoice formats, and the ability to communicate directly with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Crystal Reports to optimize accounting data and reporting capabilities.

In addition, HomeSphere announced expanded training services for BuildSoft users, including on-site training and instructor-led, Internet-based training classes with BuildSoft experts. Regional seminars are also being scheduled.
