Metropac to open two distribution centers
HVACR master distributor Metropac Industries (Foxboro, Mass.) announced it will open two distribution centers to speed up delivery time and reduce shipping charges for its customers nationwide.
The first center to open will be Elizabethtown, Ky., in October. A second facility will open in November in Ontario, Calif.
With the addition of these distribution centers, Metropac will be able to deliver packages next day or two-day to most of the country via UPS ground, with no purchase or weight requirements. Each facility will be stocked with the 50+ product lines that the company carries, with an emphasis on regional product demands. Metropac's inventory management system will automatically select the distribution center closest to the shipping destination.
