Ferguson Enterprises (Newport News, Va.) has acquired certain assets of Pesco Pipe & Supply (Philadelphia), which specializes in the sale of pipe, valve and fittings to industrial, commercial and residential markets.
The new location will be a satellite of Ferguson's King of Prussia, Pa., branch. The manager of the location will be Joe Canuso, son of Anthony Canuso, who founded Pesco in 1947.
The acquisition marks Ferguson's entry into the downtown Philadelphia market, Charles A. Banks, president, said in a statement. Ferguson has more than 450 locations in 37 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
