Brad Zarbock, Plumbers Supply's vice president/ plumbing division, said that, because of a tighter market, Plumbers was looking for the right company to sell to. Several companies made offers, but the Zarbocks wanted to wait for the right fit. They decided to go with Familian Northwest because the Zarbocks respected its upper-level management and its investment in the organization, as well as the company's buying power, Brad Zarbock said.

Plumbers Supply employs 135 people in six branches.
