Charles A. Banks, president and chief executive officer of Ferguson Enterprises (Newport News, Va.), and Steven F. Grosslight, president of Pomona, Calif.-based Familian Corp., announced that the integration of Familian into Ferguson was finalized Aug. 1.
The two firms operate under the Ferguson name.
In a letter to customers and vendors, Banks and Grosslight said they expect improved service at Ferguson's 400 branches and distribution centers once the Familian computer system is converted to Ferguson's.
"This integration will enable us to create a distribution network from coast to coast under one name," they said in a joint statement.
