Taco says it now uses a TT2300 tensile tester from Benz Materials Testing Instruments to test tiny pieces of paper used for the paper trigger in its WAGS (water and gas shutoff) valve. The paper trigger in the valve loses its strength when wet, releasing a spring-loaded plunger that shuts off both water and gas to the hot water tank.
