ASA and AIM/R enjoy a great relationship, which started many years ago. Back in 1990, the AIM/R leadership turned to ASA for management services, which formed the basis for an excellent working partnership. In the late '90s, AIM/R branched out on its own, and is currently being managed by the Manufacturers Agents National Association (MANA). ASA continues to work closely with MANA and the AIM/R leaders to further our mutual goals.

In fact, when a position was created on the ASA Board of Directors for a manufacturers representative, the ASA Board approved it only on the condition that the position be held by an AIM/R member. Likewise, other committees and working groups within ASA, including the Education Foundation Board of Trustees, call upon AIM/R members to help represent that important segment of our channel.
