Copperweld recently announced several high level appointments for its Mechanical Tubing Group.

Edward Vore was appointed general manager/marketing and sales, responsible for all commercial activity for mechanical steel tubing products. He has spent 19 years with Copperweld.

James Baske was named vice president/operations, responsible for the operations of Copperweld's plants in Piqua and Shelby, Ohio. He will be based at Shelby. Baske is a 20-year steel industry veteran and most recently served as vice president/engineering, purchasing, raw materials operations and traffic for LTV Steel.

Roberto Martinez has been named account manager, directing the company's sales and marketing activities for mechanical and stainless steel tubular products in Louisiana, Texas and Mexico. He most recently was an account representative for Metals USA.
