TradePower, a software and e-business company, was nominated for a 2003 IBM Beacon Award in the category "Best Data Management Solution" for TradeSource, its enterprise business system for distributors in the electrical, plumbing, specialty tools and fasteners industries. TradeSource integrates accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory control, warehouse management and e-commerce advanced technologies into a single application.
In other news, TradePower signed an agreement with i2 Trade Service to intersect i2 Trade Service's i2 eDataFlex content and TradePower's 2003 version of its enterprise software. Under the terms of the alliance, TradePower has designated i2 Trade Service as a preferred content partner.
