Rheem Air Conditioning agreed to a three-year sponsorship of The First Tee of Fort Smith, a program dedicated to life-skills development among disadvantaged area children.

Each of the nine holes at The First Tee of Fort Smith playing facility represents one of the organization's nine core values.

Rheem will sponsor the fourth hole, dedicated to RESPECT.

In other news, the Rheem Manufacturing Co., parent company of Rheem Air Conditioning, agreed to sponsor the Nationwide Tour's stop in Fort Smith, Ark. and call it the Rheem Classic. This marks the first time the six-year old event has had a title sponsor. The first event under the Rheem Classic moniker is a $475,000 event with a winner's share of $85,500 and will be held April 21-27, 2003.
