For the fifth consecutive year, the National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers (NAOHSM) will award six $2,000 Dave Nelsen Educational Scholarships to students who are planning to continue their education in the oil-heating industry.

To apply for scholarships, candidates are required to submit a completed application form along with a 500-word essay entitled, "What are your goals and why do you wish to better yourself within the oil-heating industry?"

A panel of independent judges will review submitted applications and choose six of the entrants for scholarships. Recipients will be notified of their award and invited to attend the NAOHSM Awards Banquet to be held Tuesday, May 20, during the Association's 50th annual convention and trade show. The convention is scheduled for May 18-22, 2003 at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center in Hershey, Pa.

The application form can be obtained online at www.naohsm.org or by request to the NAOHSM office at 888-552-0900. Applications and essays should be submitted to NAOHSM's national office no later than March 28, 2003.
