More than 1,200 HVACR industry executives gathered in Phoenix for the Heating, Airconditioning, Refrigeration Distributors (HARDI) 2005 Annual Fall Conference, Oct. 29-Nov. 1. Topics included 13 SEER, EDI and technology, steel industry developments, insurance rates, promoting the value of two-step distribution and more. Scott Lawson and Phyllis Doran demonstrated new products from Everest Software.
At the closing banquet, Randy Tice, APR Supply Co., this year's HARDI president greeted Bill Shaw, Standard Supply & Distributing Co., who was initiated as the association's new 2006 president. “We are finally recognized for the value that wholesale distribution provides to the HVACR industry and the nation's economy,” Shaw noted.
