Newport News, VA-based Ferguson opened new and remodeled showrooms and a clearance center, while WinWholesale, Dayton, OH, opened three Winnelson locations and its first renewable energy company.

Ferguson’s new 16,000-sq.-ft. showroom in Tampa, FL, is two stories high and operates in an historic building in the South Tampa area. Steve Freund is showroom manager.

The wholesaler also opened a 7,600-sq.-ft. clearance center in an existing warehouse in Pomona, CA. The facility carries high-end bath and kitchen faucet fixtures, sinks, toilets and appliances at reduced prices. These products are excess or discontinued inventory from its warehouses and showrooms in the Southern California area.

In addition, Ferguson opened two remodeled showrooms: one that is 6,500 sq. ft. in Augusta, GA, and another that is 20,000 sq. ft. in Las Vegas. George Fisher is general manager of the Augusta showroom and Dana Horner is branch manager at the Las Vegas facility.

WinWholesale announced the openings of Ocala Winnelson Co., Ocala, FL, serving central Florida; Salisbury Winnelson Co., Salisbury, MA, serving the Cape Ann region and New Hampshire seacoast; and Shelby Winnelson Co., Shelby, NC, serving Cleveland and Rutherford counties in the southwest part of the state. Each location has a warehouse, counter sales and pickup, and local delivery service.

WinWholesale also opened Framingham Winsupply Co. in Holliston, MA, to focus on the growing renewable energy market. Framingham Winsupply provides contractors with photovoltaic, solar thermal, geothermal and wind turbine products for residential and commercial use and also offers consultation services and training in partnership with Greenfield Community College at the company’s Holliston training center. It serves Boston, the Greater MetroWest area, Cape Cod and the islands.
