F.W. Webb Co., the Boston Red Sox and Fenway Sports Group (F.W. Webb's sports marketing firm) recently collaborated on an unusual promotion: the "F.W. Webb First Pitch Sweepstakes." The company received 18,000 entries.
The grand prize winners, Joseph Oullette Jr. and Nicole Bernabe, threw the first pitch on July 31.
The contest included two categories: contractors and the public. A grand prize winner was randomly drawn in each category to throw the first pitch at Fenway Park on July 31. In addition, 10 first place winners received two tickets each to a Red Sox game and 10 second place winners were given an official Red Sox jacket.
