Rytoriacap Inc. and ASC Engineered Solutions today announced that Rytoria, a North American leader in circular metal processing and recycling, has acquired ASC’s foundry and associated facilities in Blossburg, Pennsylvania. The sale is the culmination of a robust process undertaken by ASC to find a new owner that is committed to keeping the site an active part of Tioga County’s industrial economy.

“Blossburg is a wonderful community with great talent, and we are excited to launch the next chapter of Rytoria’s growth here,” said Lorne Kalisky, CEO of Rytoria. “This facility provides a strong foundation for our expansion and long-term success. We look forward to engaging with local leaders and learning more about the community’s workforce as we implement a phased expansion strategy aligned with Rytoria’s broader U.S. growth objectives.”

Rytoria, headquartered in Yoe, PA, specializes in recycling and processing non-ferrous and ferrous metals, including aluminum, copper, and brass. Through its subsidiary Fagor Regen Aluminum in Yoe, PA, the company manufactures high-purity aluminum ingots used in automotive and general manufacturing industries.

“Our goal has been to secure a future for the Blossburg site that continues its legacy within the broader Blossburg community,” said Jason Hild, CEO of ASC Engineered Solutions. “We’re pleased to have found a buyer in Rytoria that sees long-term opportunity in the site. We look forward to supporting a smooth transition as Rytoria moves forward with its plans.”

Rytoria has outlined a phased integration plan for the facility, with an initial focus on workforce engagement and infrastructure assessment. Implementation milestones are underway, with key operational priorities already identified for 2025. Through a lease-back agreement, ASC will continue Blossburg operations until the end of 2025 as it completes its production transition to other ASC facilities in Pennsylvania. Rytoria and ASC will explore potential opportunities to collaborate through supply agreements in the future.

“This is a positive development for Blossburg and the surrounding area,” said Rep. Clint Owlett. “I appreciate the efforts by ASC to maintain manufacturing activity at this important site and look forward to working with Rytoria as their long-term plans come together.”

“Manufacturing at this site has been part of the fabric of Tioga County for generations,” said Tioga County Commissioner Shane Nickerson. “I’m proud of our ability to attract great companies like Rytoria, which will invest in the future of this site to jointly benefit their growing business and our community. Alongside the rest of our Commission, I look forward to supporting Rytoria’s success in Blossburg.”
