Ray Murray announced the acquisition of the assets of Teeco Products, Inc., a well-established and respected distributor of propane gas equipment serving the Western U.S. with locations in California, Washington and South Dakota.
This strategic acquisition strengthens RMI’s commitment to delivering high-quality products, expert support and efficient service to customers across the United States. By integrating Teeco Products' strong Western U.S. presence with RMI's robust East and Central U.S. operations, the combined company will offer enhanced geographic coverage and product offerings—positioning RMI as a truly nationwide distributor in the propane, heating, hearth & outdoor living industries.
“We are thrilled to welcome Teeco into the Ray Murray family,” said Michael Hopsicker, president & CEO of Ray Murray, Inc. “Teeco has built an outstanding reputation over the last 75+ years with a loyal customer base and a team that shares our passion for service and industry knowledge. Together, we’re better positioned to support our industry from coast to coast.”
RMI will continue to operate the Teeco brand and maintain its current locations, ensuring continuity of service and relationships for its valued customers and vendors. The existing team at Teeco will remain in place, working closely with RMI to align operations, leverage shared resources and offer expanded product lines.
“This is an exciting new chapter for Teeco,” said Jay Stephens, president & CEO of Teeco Products. “We have always taken pride in offering best-in-class products and support. Joining forces with RMI enables us to expand our capabilities, enhance our product offerings, and continue delivering the quality and reliability our customers expect—now with even more reach and resources.” Jay Stephens will remain with RMI as Teeco president.
The acquisition is effective immediately. Customers and partners of both companies can expect a seamless transition and ongoing communications to support integration efforts.
