F.W. Webb Company has appointed Ryan Heusinkveld as its new Vice President of Information Technology. In this capacity, he will lead the development and management of the technology infrastructure supporting the company’s growth across the Northeast.
“Ryan is a skilled, experienced, and visionary leader who is perfectly suited to guide our information technology department both today and into the future,” said Bob Mucciarone, chief operating officer at F.W. Webb. “We are confident his hands-on, collaborative approach will keep us at the forefront of the industry while allowing us to meet our customers’ evolving needs in today’s rapidly changing technology landscape.”
Prior to joining F.W. Webb, Heusinkveld served as president and CEO at Smith Commerce, a digital commerce and marketing agency providing comprehensive solutions to B2B and B2C clients. He previously held leadership roles as chief technology officer at Smith and vice president of technology at SapientRazorfish, following a decade as a technical architect and developer at Thomson Reuters.
“I’m eager to build on the industry-leading tradition F.W. Webb has established through more than 150 years of serving customers in the Northeast,” said Heusinkveld. “My vision for the IT department is twofold: building technological capabilities that drive and accelerate our business growth while developing a high-performing, self-sufficient IT team. In doing so, we’ll create the framework necessary for providing valuable solutions to our customers.”
Heusinkveld succeeds Michael Michaud, who retires after a distinguished career
Heusinkveld joins F.W. Webb following the retirement of Senior Vice President of Information Technology Michael Michaud. Michaud, who led the IT department for more than 15 years, officially started with F.W. Webb in 1991, but had been affiliated with the company for 40 years.
“Michael’s leadership has been integral to our success, and we would not be the company we are today without his vital contributions,” said Mucciarone. “He accomplished many great things for F.W. Webb and was pivotal to the growth of our IT department. We thank him for his tremendous service and are grateful for his work in establishing a strong foundation for our future success.”
F.W. Webb makes other key appointments to executive team
Heusinkveld comes to F.W. Webb as the wholesale supplier makes other significant additions to its leadership team. The company recently welcomed Sean Davis as its vice president of marketing. Davis is responsible for leading F.W. Webb’s brand strategy, field and event marketing, creative services, and promotion of branch locations and company-wide initiatives. Davis previously held leadership roles across various industries, including financial services, healthcare, consumer products and sports marketing.
F.W. Webb Company has also appointed Brian Cavossa as director of regional sales for southern New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania to support the company’s growth and well-established presence across the region. A seasoned wholesale industry professional, Cavossa will lead efforts to advance initiatives across F.W. Webb’s 16 disciplines at the 17 locations within his territory.
“Brian is an accomplished sales leader who gets results and positions his teams for success,” said Bob Mucciarone, COO of F.W. Webb Company. “In a strategically important area with significant growth potential, Brian’s business development expertise and leadership skills will help us connect our customers with the solutions they need to grow their businesses.”
With nearly thirty years of experience, Cavossa has consistently driven impressive sales results, building and guiding teams to expand market share and increase product adoption. His background includes direct oversight of sales, operations, and human resources functions, and he has led multiple sales teams to award-winning performance.
“F.W. Webb aligns with my goals and values and is well positioned for future growth while maintaining a strong commitment to customer service and support,” said Cavossa. “I’m thrilled to work with the talented and driven F.W. Webb team to deliver the service, support, and expertise that have been the hallmarks of this company for generations.”
Cavossa joins F.W. Webb as it makes critical additions to its leadership team and extensive product inventory. Since the start of 2025, the company has welcomed new leaders in its HVAC division and expanded its partnership with Rheem to distribute its HVAC products throughout the Northeast.
F.W. Webb continues to strengthen its impact in Cavossa’s new territory, recently hosting trade professionals at successful buying shows in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition, F.W. Webb recently became partners with the Philadelphia Union and New York City FC and continues its strong partnership with the New York Yankees.
