Rapid Locking System (RLS), a provider of press-to-connect fittings for the HVAC/R industries, marks its 10-year anniversary in 2025. As part of this milestone celebration, RLS will showcase its contractor-tested, third-party certified press fitting offering at the 2025 AHR Expo from February 10-12 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Over the past decade, RLS has revolutionized the HVAC/R market with its press-to-connect fittings, which have become a trusted solution for engineers, contractors and distributors worldwide. With more than 20 million fittings in use globally, RLS continues to lead the industry by delivering products that improve efficiency, reliability and safety.

Rapid growth and expansion

As RLS enters its next phase of development, the company will continue building on its legacy with new leadership and an expanded global team. Joel Reedy, appointed president of the company in 2024, brings more than two decades of manufacturing expertise to help RLS with its ongoing expansion plans.

RLS’ recent investments in talent underscore its commitment to progress. The company promoted Arthur Harisiades, east coast director of sales in the US, and Vince Waters, west coast director of sales in the US, recognizing their contributions and leadership within the organization. Additionally, RLS welcomed two new sales managers in Germany, as well, as a team member was added in Japan in 2024, further strengthening RLS’ presence in key international markets.

Innovations at the 2025 AHR Expo

RLS, located at booth #5181, will showcase its advanced product offerings, and a dynamic lineup of engaging booth activities throughout the 2025 AHR Expo. RLS will unveil the 3/8-5/16 Reducer at the Expo. This addition is geared toward new A2L installation requirements. The company will also highlight its growing line of press-to-connect fittings, including couplings, elbows, reducers, tees, caps, bushings, and SAE flares, all of which are third-party lab certified A2L-compliant. 

Additionally, RLS will showcase its extra-large fittings, including 1-5/8” and 2-1/8” couplings, tees, elbows and reducers. These fittings are specifically designed for use with the Klauke 32kN Long Throw tool with the RLS actuator jaws to complete the press cycle. The XL fittings deliver significant time and cost savings for commercial contractors working on large refrigeration systems.

Back by popular demand, the fan-favorite Press Competition will return for another rousing year. This thrilling event will feature team captains, each selecting additional team members to form their teams. Visitors to the RLS booth can also participate in interactive moments such as RLS Brain Battle trivia game with multiple rounds testing visitors HVAC knowledge and a "spin-the-wheel" challenge to win exclusive RLS swag and tools.
