IPEX announced the grand opening of its latest distribution center (DC) in Jacksonville, Florida. With proximity to Charlotte, North Carolina, and Cincinnati, Ohio, this facility represents another step forward in our U.S. expansion strategy, enabling us to serve customers more efficiently across the Southeast.

As the fourth fastest-growing city in the United States, IPEX selected Jacksonville for its newest DC due to its growing manufacturing industry and access to first-class logistics and transportation infrastructure. The new 300,000+ square foot warehouse, located at 9909 Pritchard Road, building 200, Gateway Industrial Park, will support Jacksonville’s ongoing economic growth and local job creation, including 21 new full-time positions.

“Our new DC is not just a facility – it’s a promise to our customers and community that we’re invested in their success, today and for the future,” said Alex Mestres, CEO at IPEX. “Designed with our customers in mind, this facility leverages the strength of the region to enhance our supply chain efficiencies, contributing toward Jacksonville’s continued economic expansion and job creation within the community.”

“I’m excited to welcome IPEX’s state-of-the-art distribution center to our city. This investment will bring job opportunities and strengthen our community’s position as a hub for economic growth and innovation,” said The Honorable Donna Deegan. “We look forward to continuing to advance the city’s prospering manufacturing sector and skilled local talent.”

The new Jacksonville facility reinforces IPEX’s commitment to provide products that efficiently reach customers across its North American distribution centers. Leveraging new technologies, processes, and advanced health and safety practices, the facility is an example of how IPEX is innovating to better service customers and increase production for municipal, electrical, industrial, plumbing and electrical applications.

As part of the facility’s grand opening, IPEX donated $10,000 toward Goodwill Industries of North Florida’s Academic Support Through the Employment Process (A-Step) program – focusing on the concentrated lane of A-Step – the newly launched Building Futures Together initiative. This program, in collaboration with Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) and the Home Builders Institute (HBI) Jacksonville, fills a gap in current skilled trade education by offering industry-relevant courses to local residents.

"Investing in non-profit programs is more than just funding—it’s a commitment to creating meaningful change. By supporting initiatives like the A-STEP we empower individuals, strengthen communities, and build a brighter future for all.” David Rey, CEO Goodwill Industries of North Florida.

Through our support of Goodwill, combined with the opening of our new facility, we are creating sustainable employment opportunities and contributing to the region’s prosperity. Together, we are building a foundation for the future, ensuring success for the community, while supporting the industries that drive our collective progress.
