Viega MegaPressG fittings are the first fittings approved for connecting gas pipe up to 4". They come with HNBR sealing elements and graphite separator rings approved for use in gas and fuel oil applications, including natural gas, liquid propane gas, diesel fuel and more. MegaPressG is for use with Schedule 5 to Schedule 40 carbon steel pipe and is available in nearly 150 configurations. MegaPressG fittings are safer than conventional pipe joining methods for gas work because they are flameless and connections can be made in seconds. As a result, the system can reduce labor costs by as much as 60-90%.
