NKBA is looking for the best and boldest young leaders, creators and thinkers in the kitchen and bath industry to join its Thirty Under 30 community. Now in its ninth year, the class of 2021 joins an elite group of nearly 250 alumni representing rising leaders from all areas of the kitchen and bath industry, from designers and remodelers to showroom representatives and manufacturers.
The NKBA Thirty Under 30 program is more than just a list,” said Bill Darcy, CEO of the NKBA. “It’s a community that continues to provide these rising industry stars with an unrivaled opportunity to connect with their peers, share ideas, gain valuable recognition and develop their careers.”
Molly Switzer, AKBD, is the principal and lead designer for Molly N. Switzer Designs in Portland, Oregon. She is a Thirty Under 30 alum (Class of 2014) and was honored as Best Chapter President and NKBA Chapter Officer of the Year at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in January.
“NKBA’s Thirty Under 30 program has been a pivotal part of my career and my personal life,” Switzer said. “I’ve made lifelong connections not only in my class but with all of the 30s alumni. This diverse network of individuals has opened up so many opportunities for me to connect and grow. I’m really proud to be a part of this group and the organization that supports it.”
Cari Bolte, a senior designer and creative director with Bolte Construction in Nebraska and an alum from the inaugural Class of 2013, adds “The NKBA Thirty Under 30 program has helped me to establish a support system, a network and the confidence to grow and expand my career.”
The NKBA Thirty Under 30 nomination period for the 2021 honorees runs from June 1 through August 4. There is no cost to enter and nominations can be submitted either by the nominee or by a colleague on behalf of the nominee.
