• Taco Family of Companies announced Cheryl Merchant has joined the company as president of Taco Family of Companies, North America. Merchant has spent the last 19 years as president and CEO of Hope Global Industries out of Cumberland, Rhode Island. Luca Bolcati, vice president of Taco International, is the new president of Taco International.

  • Wolseley Canada announced the appointment of Kim Forgues to vice president, human resources.

  • REHAU announced promotions in its Americas leadership team and the transfer of the current regional CEO Christian Fabian to head a newly formed technology and performance global services division. As of Jan. 1, the regional executive board of REHAU Americas with headquarters in Leesburg, Virginia, will include Theo Haast, serving as president in addition to chief financial officer; Dr. Thomas Troeger, filling the newly created position of chief marketing officer; and Terry Barnaby, head of operations.

  • Skip Diamond joined Mestek as its new technical resources manager for its Sterling HVAC, SpacePak and Koldwave brands.

  • Zurn Industries announced the appointment of Barry Moulsdale to general manager of Zurn Canada.

  • RectorSeal named Jeff Underwood its new vice president of sales and marketing. Underwood assumes the same position for parent company CSW Industrials, Dallas.

  • Americh Corp. appointed 25-year retail and wholesale plumbing sales veteran Kimberly Frechette to the position of national sales manager.

  • AHRI’s new chairman is William Steel, president and CEO of Bard Mfg. Co.   • Uponor North America won the Tekne Award from the Minnesota High Tech Association, recognizing the company for introducing water management to the Internet of Things. The trophy in the building design and infrastructure category honored Uponor for its Phyn Plus water-monitoring and shutoff system launched in partnership with Belkin.
