Epicor Software Corp., recently announced the latest versions of its distribution software solutions. The company’s Epicor Prophet 21 and Epicor Eclipse ERP systems are designed to fit the needs of today’s digital distributors, enabling them to take full advantage of cloud-ready technologies to drive sales growth and increase margin, it noted.

The newest release of Prophet 21 introduces Inline Search, which allows users to enter search parameters without leaving the window in which they currently working to help dramatically improve user experience and productivity, Epicor said. An enhanced cycle-counting mechanism provides greater flexibility and more options to customize cycle-count in line with business needs. The DynaChange function allows for the tracking of changes by those who made them.

A new application-programming interface option for Eclipse improves extensibility to help make distributors in the electrical, plumbing, heating, HVAC and PVF industries more efficient and flexible. The first phase of APIs delivers modern technology with file-level integration transactions to ensure data integrity. Epicor Data Analytics (EDA) has been enhanced to include a radio-frequency data extract.
