The Plumber’s Third Hand simplifies garbage-disposal installation and removal by holding the strainer flange in place and the disposal off the ground, leaving both hands of the installer free to finish the installation. Featuring a threaded shaft with a spin-down locking wing nut that secures against the strainer opening, the Plumber’s Third Hand uses the weight of the disposal to hold down the flange and hold the disposal in place while installing the mounting hardware.
