Ipswich, Massachusetts-based United Pipe & Steel hired Chris Barone as the company’s outside sales representative for Southern California. Barone, a California native and Marine Corps veteran, previously worked in the wholesale waterworks industry.

Houston, Texas-based Merfish Pipe & Supply announced Stephen Dienes has joined the company as vice president of sales. Dienes has more than 20 years of global sales and management experience within steel manufacturing and distribution of carbon, stainless and special alloy products.
