Anvil International acquires Grinnell Grooved Mechanical Products
Johnson Controls will retain the Grinnell Fire Suppression business globally.
Anvil International, North American manufacturer and supplier of products that connect, hang and support piping systems, has announced that it has acquired the Grinnell Mechanical Product suite for the North American Mechanical business, including grooved couplings, fittings and valves, G-Press Systems, technical services and the Anniston, Ala., foundry. Johnson Controls will retain the Grinnell Fire Suppression business globally.
“This acquisition broadens our product portfolio, increases our design service capabilities, and brings us additional strength to our sales force,” Anvil International Vice President Dean Taylor said. “Our team is very excited about bringing the industry the Gruvlok and Grinnell grooved combination.”
“We continue to look to expand our product offering and give our customers a choice of joining methods and products,” Anvil CEO Tom Fish said. “This acquisition is a nice strategic fit for Anvil as we look to expand our business.”
