It has been an exciting and successful year to have served as ASA
president.
In my first letter at the beginning of 2012, I emphasized my 100% commitment to
continuing the fine traditions of ASA and also to enhancing the association’s
value to all our stakeholders.
Damaged cargo can be costly to a business. It can result in lost materials, lost customers, citations and a poor company image. Worse, improperly secured cargo can lead to traffic incidents and injuries to workers.
ASA is on pace to surpass a variety of yearly goals.

Dear
Industry Colleagues,
Serving as ASA president throughout the course of the past several months
has been quite a learning experience. In addition to having the unique
opportunity of working closely with association leadership and staff, I have
also enjoyed the privilege of representing ASA at various industry events
during this time.
