Respondents to ASA’s monthly sales report registered a 15.4% change in average sales for July 2021 vs. July 2020. July 2021 vs. June 2021, respondents reported a median sales decrease of -5.7%.
Dakota Supply Group (DSG) announced the acquisition of Montana Waterworks & Irrigation (MTWW) in an asset purchase effective September 1. Montana Waterworks is a waterworks distributor serving Eastern Montana from its Billings location. This will be DSG’s first waterworks location in the state.

A. O. Smith announced a new series of training programs as a result of high-demand for its A. O. Smith University educational sessions. The company has two state-of-the-art training facilities, located in Ashland City and Johnson City, Tennessee, which held primarily virtual training sessions in 2020 with over 100,000 combined class attendances. Both facilities are utilized to train technicians, contractors and product representatives on a variety of products and topics.

Dakota Supply Group (DSG) announced plans to open a new branch in Rogers, Minnesota in December. It will be DSG’s twelfth location in Minnesota and its 44th across six states. The new facility is located in the Gateway North Business Park at 6035 Queens Ave NE, just north of Rogers along Highway 101.
Stallings was diagnosed with cancer in May of this year. He fought courageously, but with his wife by his side, he ultimately succumbed to his illness on July 28.
