Stuart Leigh was appointed the new president of Lasco Bathware by its parent company, Tomkins Industries, a global engineering group. He succeeds Jack McDonald, who has returned to focus on Lasco Fittings. Leigh will manage more than 2,000 employees in nine locations across the United States, overseeing product development, sales, services, support and marketing.

His 26-year career includes six years at Brasstech, where most recently he was vice president of operations. Brasstech, a faucet manufacturer, was recently acquired by Masco. From 1992 to 1998, Leigh was in charge of operations at Cobra Watertech, a valve and faucet manufacturer and former Tomkins Group company. Cobra operates five factories in South Africa and has 1,700 employees. Before that, he was chief executive officer of a precision foundry in South Africa.

Leigh is a registered professional engineer in his home country of South Africa.

Lasco Bathware manufactures fiberglass and acrylic bath fixtures.
