IBM selected Vormittag Associates, Inc. (VAI) as the winner of its 2006 Beacon Award for most innovative “Built on IBM Express Portfolio” solution. The Express Portfolio is the cornerstone of IBM’s strategy for serving the IT mid-market sector. VAI was recognized as using a wide variety of IBM hardware and software — including Websphere and Portal technology — to craft its solutions. The award will be presented at IBM’s premier worldwide business partner event, PartnerWorld, in Las Vegas next month.
