Oil Heat Cares (OHC) was a focal point for NAOHSM’s Annual Convention and Trade Show in Providence, RI. This year’s theme, “Superheroes of Service,” honored OHC volunteers and helped raise funds to continue the organization’s mission of assisting others by replacing their oil heating equipment.

At the Awards Banquet, the New York Chapter received the Oil Heat Cares Cup for their work at the Lawrence F. Keene American Legion Post in the Bronx. Led by Angel Gonzalez, students from the Alfred E. Smith Vocation Career School had the opportunity to work side by side with professional installers.

Motorcyclists, cyclists, and walkers gathered for the Care to Ride event. This year's event raised over $58,000. The top fundraisers by category were:

Team: Team Connecticut
Walking: Judy Garber
Biking and Overall: Roger Marran
Motorcycling: David Bessette

The Oil Heat Cares Board of Directors also welcomed new members: John Levey of Oilheat Associates, Don Farrell of Oilheating Magazine, and Paul Cuprewich of Wooley Fuel in Maplewood NJ.
