Red Man Pipe & Supply has acquired Bear Tubular, Inc., a PVF distributor headquartered in Marcus Hook, PA, and with a second location in Portland, ME.

Headquartered in Tulsa, OK, Red Man operates 62 store facilities and 6 sales offices nationwide. The sales offices are primarily responsible for the distribution of oil country tubular goods, whereas the stores maintain inventories of consumable oilfield and industrial supplies.

Bear Tubular has serviced the heavy industrial market with complete piping packages since 1981. Its offerings in carbon and stainless steel are suited to a variety of applications, including petrochemical/refining, power generation, process (food, pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper), general construction, maritime, and wastewater management.

The acquisition strengthens Red Man’s position in the Northeast, which until this acquisition consisted of only a single store in New Jersey.
