The recent chaos and gloom that we’ve experienced during the global pandemic has taught us several important lessons, including resilience and strength.
NIBCO introduces its Wrot Racer push fittings, a new line of copper push fittings engineered to join copper, CPVC-CTS, PEX and PE-RT (with stiffeners) for easy transition between piping systems. With a patented fitting design, installations are easily made within seconds. NIBCO notes.
Global supply chain challenges continue to impact the carbon steel fitting and flange marketplace. Lead times have been extending and steel prices remain on the rise. Capitol Manufacturing implemented a new price list sheet that represents a 6% pricing increase on welded carbon steel nipples (Effective Sept. 9).
Steel prices are at an all-time high. We have seen a 14% increase already this year (malleable iron and welded nipples) with another 7% expected in Q3 2021.
NIBCO BenchPress and BenchPressG line of carbon steel fittings bring press technology to plumbing and mechanical, as well as fuel and gas carbon steel pipe applications.
