Ferguson recently announced it has expanded its partnership with Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg in Virginia. Ferguson is based out of Newport News, Va.

Ferguson will donate all the plumbing products for each new home build and rehab in the area. The nonprofit is expected to build or rehab about 15 homes on the Peninsula or in Williamsburg this year, including a Home Builders Blitz of five new homes for five low-income families in a 90-day span. Ferguson will donate all the pipes and plumbing products along with all fixtures (toilets, sinks and water heaters).

“Ferguson believes in Habitat for Humanity’s mission to bring together members of the community to create affordable housing for low-income families,” Ferguson CEO Frank Roach said. ‘Each home not only helps individual families establish solid foundations, but also strengthens our neighborhoods through revitalization.”

Habitat for Humanity PGW Executive Director Janet V. Green added: “Ferguson’s commitment to affordable housing helps change the lives of families for generations. We are grateful for this renewed partnership and for Ferguson’s commitment to helping families overcome the burden of substandard housing.”
