After reviewing a wide of entries, Duravit named Canadian architect Nicolas Koff as the winner of the company’s Designer Dream Bath Competition. Koff was awarded the Duravit items featured in his entry up to a value of $15,000.

Koff’s design — for his family home in Ancaster, Ontario — emphasized sustainability and universal design. He utilized Duravit’s Happy D.2 tall cabinet and its DuraStyle drop-in bathtub, a Starck 2 washbasin and a Happy D.2 mirrored cabinet.

“We found Nicolas’ design to stand out due to the creative way in which he blended Duravit’s introductions with environmentally friendly design,” said Duravit USA President Tim Schroeder. “We applaud his ability to imaginatively create an accessible bathroom for all ages.”

Submissions from Alberto Mizuno and Esteban Cruces of ALBERTO/ESTEBAN, and Roberto Deseda of lowercase were awarded honorable mentions.
