This year's ASA Convention will be held October 12-14 at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. One of the most popular sessions from the past few years has been the “Meet the Pros,” workshop, sponsored by the Young Executives Division, in which members volunteer to freely share their expertise in key areas of their operations.
The set up is casual: Round tables are set with 8-10 chairs at each, and the “Pro,” who had been recruited from the membership at large as a recognized leader in his or her area of expertise, hosts an informal discussion on the topic, sharing experiences, techniques, tools and suggestions. Since there are usually at least 5 “Pros” and as many topics, participants can choose to spend all of their time at one table, or split their time between several different topics.
