TradePower recently held its 11th annual User Conference in Las Vegas to show clients how they can increase the value of their technology investment. Users of TradePower's distributor business systems, TradeSource and Array, attended specialized information sessions on the latest techniques, strategies, and solutions available to improve gross margin, productivity, inventory management and customer service while reducing costs.

The conference was divided into three tracks (Executive, IT, and Training). Personal consultations were available throughout the conference, giving clients the opportunity to address specific questions and concerns with TradePower management.

Guest speaker Neil Gillespie, principal from Channel Marketing Group Inc., and a 24-year veteran in the distribution-marketing field, outlined seven steps to maximize return on a company's technology investment utilizing today's productivity tools.

Betty Helpa, vice president/distributor solutions at TradePower, said that she was pleased with the outcome of the 2002 User Conference. "Our goal was to share with our clients what the system can do for them to increase their sales, lower their cost and to make each employee more productive," she said. "The conference is a success when our clients can communicate their needs to us and go back to their company with ways to improve."
