interested in acquiring the company and was friends with its owner. Westwater
also has facilities in Springfield and Zanesville, OH.
Schmidt’s Wholesale, Monticello, NY, purchased Smith Supply in Newburgh, NY,
and reopened it as its third location in February. A grand opening celebration
is planned for late spring. “Our continued growth into this market and during
these difficult industrial times is a reflection of a well-executed growth
plan,” said Gary Schmidt, president.
