Bill Weisberg (L) and Roy Weaks (R) of A-D flank Ted Green of Pace Supply Corp., who received the award for Affiliate of the Year for Leadership.

Affiliated Distributors, King of Prussia, PA, honored its top affiliates and suppliers for exceptional growth, increased market share and enhanced profitability as part of its Spirit of Independence Awards ceremony during the Plumbing and PVF North American meeting in September, held in Dallas, TX.

Here are the award winners in the Plumbing Division:

  • Supplier of the Year for Performance: NIBCO Inc.
  • Supplier of the Year for Leadership: Keeney Manufacturing Co.
  • Affiliate of the Year for Performance: F.W. Webb Co.
  • Affiliate of the Year for Leadership: Ted Green, Pace Supply Corp.
  • Best Conversion to A-D Supplier: Hirsch Pipe & Supply and Keeney Manufacturing Co.
  • Best Annual Planning Process: US Supply
  • Best A-D Exclusive Program: F.W. Webb Co. and Elkay Manufacturing — Monster Move

Also, Sandi Kegebein from First Supply, Madison, WI, was the recipient of the 2007 Plumbing MVP award, which recognizes an employee of an affiliate company who has made a strong contribution to the overall success of the division. He or she has either contributed a “best in class” idea that benefited multiple affiliates or suppliers or has demonstrated significant personal leadership at the grassroots level in the implementation of A-D initiatives within his or her company.

More than 370 independent distributor companies with 3,000-plus locations in the United States and Canada are members of the wholesale buying and marketing group. A-D membership commands more than $25 billion in sales across five industries: electrical supplies, industrial supplies, plumbing supplies, HVAC equipment and supplies, and pipe, valves and fittings.
