Commercial faucet manufacturer Chicago Faucets announced that more than 95 percent of its products comply with the Buy American Act (BAA).

According to the company, more than 1,700 Chicago Faucets products are BAA compliant, including an array of manual and electronic faucets. A complete brochure listing Chicago Faucets BAA compliant products is available here.

For easy identification, the BAA logo is also featured with each compliant product listed in the Chicago Faucets online catalog.

BAA requires U.S. government entities to prefer, and when possible, purchase products made in the United States. To comply with BAA, the cost of a product's domestic components must equal more than 50 percent of the cost of the complete product.

Chicago Faucets also says its products meet the provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which President Barack Obama signed into law February 2009. ARRA requires American-made products to be used when possible in projects that are receiving federal funding and, like BAA, is designed to preserve American jobs.
