Dr. Joost Brasz, recognized in the HVAC industry and the academic community as a leader and expert aerodynamic engineer in turbomachinery and centrifugal compressor technology, died Sept. 2. He received numerous patents in the field, including for the new Danfoss Turbocor compressor technology. Brasz was a Ph.D. graduate of Eindhoven (Netherlands) University of Technology.
