Alfred N. Zotter Jr., 61, general manager of East Lawn Supply Co.,
Nazareth, PA, died in March, the company announced. He began his career in the
industry in 1963 with Service Supply Co., Allentown, PA, where he spent 19
years. Then he joined Willow Grove Supply Co., Quakerstown, PA, which later
became Mid-States Supply, where he was a buyer of plumbing, heating and HVAC
materials. He became senior buyer at East Lawn Supply in 1991. Zotter was
honored with the top 100 purchasing professionals award and was a lifelong member
of industry organizations including NAOHSM, Mid-Atlantic Wholesalers
Association and the Omni buying group. “The industry has lost one of their
greats…with the passing of A.Z.,” Jim Peppell, owner of East Lawn Supply said
in a statement. “Many tradesmen, manufacturers, manufacturers representatives
and co-workers have lost a true friend.”
Dan Papachristos
Dan Papachristos,
55, co-owner of Ranger Supply Co., Bronx, NY, died suddenly May 13. He founded
Ranger Supply in 1985 after working in the garment district in New York City.
While attending the City University of New York he was selected to the New York
All-City Hockey Team. He was involved with the local community and contributed
to the Kingsbridge Little League and the Church of Visitation, among other
charities.
Ronald Ray Webber
Ronald Ray Webber,
62, was a general manager of Builders Plumbing and Heating Supply Michigan for
more than 35 years. A memorial service was held for him at Michigan State
University – Kellogg Center in April that drew 470 people, according to Builders
Plumbing and Heating Supply Co., Morton Grove, IL, a division of the Crawford
