Friendliness is an abiding characteristic of people from the South. This year’s
incoming president of the Southern Wholesalers Association exudes it. Companies
like his, Landrum Supply Co. (Augusta, GA), represent a throwback to an era
when relationships meant everything to a plumbing wholesaler. It’s hard to make
that same statement today given all the attention paid to purchasing and
