Trane announced a new large rooftop replacement program that will offer contractors a 5% rebate on IntelliPak™ and Voyager III™ commercial air conditioning rooftop systems being used as replacements for comparable equipment. Contractors can sign up with their local Trane sales offices and place orders by Aug. 15 to qualify for the rebate.
The company also updated its Trane Acoustics Program (TAP™), an analysis tool that helps designers model the sound level that will reach building occupants' ears. TAP version 3.0 provides automated ASHRAE-endorsed algorithms with a user-friendly interface, updated product sound data, more sound elements to model sound paths and a new reporting format, making it easier to interpret results.
