Seattle-based wholesaler Pacific Plumbing Supply expects to improve both customer service and inventory efficiency this year with planned expansion, relocation, new construction and the addition of a new branch location, according to CEO Larry Solomon.
The wholesaler is moving its administrative offices and Seattle wholesale branch into the former Familian NW/Ferguson building at 7115 W. Marginal Way SW. Renovation of the office and will-call areas will be completed this fall, and the warehouse should be ready to move into by December. The company plans to make this location a distribution center for some of the lines currently inventoried at its facility in Everett, Wash., and to run inter-branch trucks out of both warehouses. It also intends to consolidate its Alaska and Hawaii freight at the new Seattle warehouse to streamline out-of-state freight shipments.
