Ferguson (Newport News, Va.) appointed Al Whitehurst president/general manager of its Greensboro, N.C., location. He had been president/general manager of the company's location in Saginaw, Mich., since 2000. He joined Ferguson in 1984 as a finance trainee in Greensville, N.C., and since then held positions as a controller in Myrtle Beach; as an auditor/installer at Ferguson headquarters; and as a satellite manager and operations manager in Houston.
