Sunroc Corp., a water cooler manufacturer based in Dover, Del., and owned by OASIS Corp., will permanently shut down June 30, according to published accounts in the Dover Post newspaper and the Delaware State News.
“This difficult decision was made due to economic reasons generated by intense competition in the marketplace from offshore competitors and the need to lower overall costs,” the Dover Post quoted OASIS as saying. “We regret this decision had to be made; however, the company believes that it is necessary in order to protect the long-term viability of the organization.”
