Like it or not, myriad factors have made the first three quarters quite interesting, including an escalating economy, a decline in unemployment, Washington and the Trump administration dramatically reducing our regulatory burden, consumer confidence rising, threats from trade wars and escalating tariffs, and the beginning of an unpredictable political season that is just getting underway.
Sometimes I feel with all this swirling around me I don’t know what I should focus on first. One minute, I’m elated over the prospects from a booming economy — a chance to make money. The next minute, I’m listening to all the rhetoric coming out of Washington and I think that the good times will evaporate just as quickly as they have begun. I now know what a pinball feels like being bounced all over the place.
